Besides the irritation of not being able to twist open screw top bottles, I have been noticing the many other ways my ability to use my hands to do things is affected. And often the problem is not strength of my fingers, but wrist and forearm strength.
Here are some examples:
Pouring water from a full kettle. Hold steady and tip the kettle.
Holding a plate of soup level and then putting it down on the table.
Holding the dogs’ water bowl steady and level when I put it down on the floor without spilling.
